Magnon was a character from Sungold's Galaxy Warriors toy line that seems to have been taken for the Galaxy Fighters line. The biggest change between the Warriors Magnon and Fighters Magnon is the hair color, the Galaxy Warriors Magnon is blond, while the Fighters Magnon has black hair. Fighters Magnon went through 3 different names between card versions! He was called Magnon in version 1, which was a blue card featuring an unnamed warrior, a Madison stamp, and the character's name on the card. As well as version 1.5 which was the same as version 1 except without the name on the card and instead of a Madison stamp, it had a Sewco stamp. The name was then changed to Magoon for the version 2 card which was orange. The name Magoon was given to a different character for version 3 and 4. In those 2 versions, Magnon/Magoon was called Daton. The version 3 card had a space-themed background featuring the Castle of Doom, an unproduced playset that was featured at the back of the version 1 and 2 card. And the version 4 card gave the Galaxy Fighters a new logo and featured Kobraa, another Galaxy Fighter, on the side.
