Sentient plant-being Groot left his Flora colossus people behind on their native Planet X to travel out into the galaxy. Along with the genetically enhanced creature Rocket, Groot racked up an impressive list of criminal charges while working for various crime lords. Teaming up with fellow-prisner Star-Lord and his motley crew, Groot sacrificed this own life during the battle of Xander to save his new friends. However, part of his body was planted by Rocket to birth a new Groot, as they joined the Guardians of the Galaxy. This adorable Groot is a San Diego Comic Con exclusive and Glows in the Dark!
