It’s been a while since I reviewed the King Kong figure by NECA – both its regular and “illustrated” versions – and I loved both. The great detail and articulation definitely won me over on them, and I was eager to see more. Thankfully, two new versions of him dropped around the same time I did my review, “Skull Island” and “Concrete Jungle”, both of which take cues from the original 1930’s flick. Both are pretty much the same figure, but with new interchangeable parts and different accessories for each one. I got the Skull Island version not too long ago, and neither variant (nor the original two) should be too hard to find.
