As a huge fan of Dead Space, this figure gets points for merely existing. The Dead Space series has long been forgotten so to have it immortalized in plastic (along with Isaac Clarke) is an amazing treat. That being said the figure is cool but leaves a lot to be desired. It’s rather flimsy and lacks a base, which is a damn shame. A grotesque, infected metal base would really make the figure pop. Regardless this is a wild figure that fits right in with any The Thing display....[See More]
One of the most common enemies in the Dead Space game series is the Slasher type Necromorph and its variants. I wish NECA had made figures for all the necromorphs. The grotesque design and macabre detail of some of them like the Leaper, the Guardian and the Exploder would look so cool immortalized in plastic. It seems like NECA's Player Select line (which also includes the unfinished Left 4 Dead figures) didn't sell very well so we probably won't ever get them...but I can dream.
