Shoulders' mammoth size separated him from the other youngsters at an early age, and he dropped out of school in the second grade. After accidentally hugging his entire family into the emergency ward of the hospital, he took up with the crowd on the wrong side of the tracks.

Starting as an enforcer for street gangs, Shoulders worked his way up to the Lips Manlis' gang, where he's happy to have someone else do the thinking for him. Enjoys knocking over phone booths with unsuspecting callers still inside.
