GALACTIC GEAR * Mirror Machine * Sword * Pistol * Star Trek Classic Action Base
On Stardate 2145.5, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 was traversing a star desert when it encountered an unknown planet. Captain James Kirk and Helmsman Sulu suddenly disappeared from the Bridge. A landing party found them in an ancient Earth castle held captive by a pompous, petulant humanoid named Trelane. The alien was dressed in the style of a squire, patterning himself after observations he'd taken of Earth 900 light-years away. Trelane called his planet Gothos. Mr. Spock managed to beam up Kirk and the crew, but Trelane brought them back. Kirk tricked Trelane into a duel, firing is shot into a mirror machine projecting Trelane's illusion. The crew escaped again, but Trelane used Gothos itself to block the Enterprise. Kirk beamed down and challenged Trelane to a hunt in exchange for letting his ship leave - a deal that Trelane never honored. Trelane's parents, powerful energy beings, ended Trelane's game and greed Kirk. For the record, Kirk suggested cataloging Trelane as either a "god of war" or "a small boy, and a strange one at that."
