Trumpkin: A good-hearted Red Dwarf both hearty in spirit and droll in humor, Trumpkin is the brave messenger and loyal friend to Prince Caspian and the Pevensies. While defending Prince Caspian, he is captured by the Telmarines, which gives Miraz proof that the Narnians are real and justifies his campaign against them. The Pevensies rescue Trumpkin from the soldiers, and he leads them to where the Narnians are forming their army.

Trufflehunter: Trusting, kind and honest, the badger Trufflehunter is Prince Caspian's rescuer and most loyal supporter. He initially takes in and heals the fugitive Caspian, and encourages him to take up the fight against Miraz. Faithful to the memory of Aslan, Trufflehunter is more than willing to join his friends in battle to save Narnia from Miraz's oppression.
