Chris Masters, born Christopher Todd Mordetzky on January 8, 1983, in Santa Monica, California, is a professional wrestler best known for his time in WWE under the ring name Chris Masters. His career in WWE began with a bang in 2005, where he was immediately recognized for his incredible physique and his signature submission move, the Masterlock.

Feuds and Matches: Masters’ early career in WWE was highlighted by the infamous Masterlock Challenge. This segment showcased his signature move, the full nelson, challenging fellow wrestlers and audience members to break the hold. The challenge ended memorably in 2007 when Bobby Lashley became the first person to break the Masterlock, a significant milestone in Masters’ career.

Masters had a notable feud with Shawn Michaels, one of the most iconic figures in WWE. Their rivalry culminated in several high-profile matches, including a tag match where Masters defeated Ric Flair by submission. This feud helped to establish Masters as a serious contender in the WWE landscape.
