Miriya undergoes micronization (shrinking) so she can infiltrate the SDF-1 and assassinate Max Sterling. Once inside the SDF-1, Miriya encounters Max and realizes that the emotion she feels toward him is what the Micronians (humans) call "love". Rejecting her Zentraedi heritage, she marries Max and joins the RDF in their battles against Dolza and Khyron.
