Zoar is a re-mold of an earier eagle featured in Mattel's "Big Jim" toyline. The toy flaps its wings when a button on one of its legs is pushed. One detail that varies between toyline and the Filmation cartoon is the falcon's gender. Early on (1981-1983) the falcon is portrayed as a male falcon, separate from the identity of the Sorceress.
