Description:

On Stardate 5693.2. the U.S.S. Enterprise™, under the command of Captain James T. Kirk attempted to rescue the crew of the U.S.S. Defiant, who were trapped in a spatial interphase near Tholian territory. As a precaution, Kirk and other Enterprise officers donned environmental suits before beaming over to the Defiant. Kirk was trapped when the interphase between the two dimensional planes disconnected. Unable to return to his ship, Kirk had only the air in his environmental suit to keep him alive. Although ensnared by the Tholians, Mr. Spock and the Enterprise officers stood fast to attempt a rescue. The interphase had debilitating effects on the crew. When the ship broke free of the Tholian Web, Kirk was pulled along with them and returned to the Enterprise.
