Slaine Mac Roth is a Celtic warrior king from the time of myths and legends. He is a master of the warp-spasm, a bezerker rage fuelled by the power of the Earth Goddess which transforms him into a monstrous killing creature. He has traveled through wormholes in the time to fight injustice on behalf of the Earth Goddess, but has also been a mercenary, an outcast and worse.

Slaine's Accessories include:

Ukko - Slaines scheming dwarf sidekick who chronicles the barbarian braveheart's adventures. Self-serving, devious and decidedly dodgy.

Brainbiter - Slaine's mighty double-headed axe which he wields with immense skill, hence Slaine's catchphrase: "Kiss my axe!"

Excalibur - The legendary sword of King Arthur, which Slaine has used in battle when Brainbiter was not to hand. A fearsome bringer of death.
