Recently got a display case for cheap, I'm deciding what to stuff in there. I have random stuff like lego, gundams, customs, big PAK figs, etc. that it's hard to choose. I'll probably sell all those street fighter figs since im not that into them anymore.
Haha think I see my old vega, he's seen a lot of toy fights, not the best display figure. Gundams always look great, but I think customs are the ultimate collectible to display. I found two wall mounted golf ball displays for my Lego mini figs, they worked great
Yeah, I was surprised to see that small clear plastic cases to display LEGO figs are so expensive. But you can regularly find really nice wall-mounted wooden ones, with glass doors even to keep out dust, for super cheap.
I'll probably get something to put them on top of this display case though, because I have lego vehicles I need to display too.
So ebay had one, but it sold put before I found it. I seriously dont want to buy another whole figure. anyone have any suggestions? Im becoming obsessed, lol, I tried making one out of moldable plastic but that didnt go well. Whats up guys, I just got my Greg Capullo Batman figure through the mail today that I been pretty pumped up about and the first thing I notice in the package it looks like Batman is wearing Black lipstick. His lips and the detail in his chin are literally painted black... Has this happened to anybody else or just mine. The pics of the figure on the internet his lips don't look that shaded. It literally looked like he just made out with cat woman. I took some nail polish remover and a toothpick and and scraped it out looks much better. I just broke off where his glove meets the elbow joint though. I like the sculpt but made very cheap
Errors like that are rare but they happen. It's extra weird that the figure's lips are black, maybe the factory worker used the wrong color by accident.
Exchange it if you can, though I've never had luck exchanging things based on a small error like that. As an aside, it's part of the reason I started customizing.

Toys R Us just released a two pack spiderman and civilian mary jane in t-shirt and pants. She might work for some of your civilians. I think the price is around 30 bucks for the pack.
Depends which scale you work with. Typically for 6 inch figures I use wrestling figs in street clothes. For 7 inch figures I use Jakks Pacific Rocky figures. Even Jakks Wrestling figure. My apologies if you use a smaller scale, I don't know much about 3.75 figures.
Big hello to all! Brand new member and only new at collecting. I'm trying to find martial arts weapons for 6 inch figures, specifically Ninja weapons like Throwing Stars and Grapple Hooks. For a grappling hook, I think you could try making a pinnhole in a 6 inch scale gun with a needle, and then put a bendy wire on the end of it (maybe use a small fishing hook for the hook itself).If that would look a bit modern for a feudal ninja for you, just lose the gun part. As for the shurikens, why not just cut them with an exacto knife out of a soft,thin layer of plastic and then paint them? They may not look perfect at a first try, but as you get better at customising, so will be your accessories. Just some ideas. Good luck!

Kit bash old GI joe vehicles. You can also use random ( carefully removed and painted ) blister pack plastic. Lastly the random plastic thing-a-migs that you would find in factory packed boxes ( like the spacers they place in-between items or to stop the box from crushing at the corners. I said before " one mans trash is anothers spaceship "
Maybe you can try gluing together foam or styrene sheets to make the furniture, then just use wood-print sticker sheets as a veneer. I think people use it for wallpaper or something, it's basically a big sticker sheet with patterns printed on it, just cut shapes out as needed.
If you need sci-fi stuff specifically, I don't know lol
