Write a Review link for that item. Legendary Comic Book Heroes (Marvel Toys)Sculpt - *** 1/2 (out of 5) This is the first thing I'd like to touch on. I really love the sculpt for this figure. The large, hulking brute that it makes Marv out to be really reflects the look and feel of his comic book counterpart. The size, the proportion, and the wrinkles in his face do well to depict Marv. Even the coat (which I'll touch on more later) is perfectly sculpted to show Frank Miller's art style. My only problem with the figure is the height. He stand roughly 7" tall, but to be honest I expected him to be even bigger than that. Fans of the comic book series will know that Marv is HUGE. So I expected the figure to be just a tad big taller than that. And there's also a hole in Marv's back and in his coat. I'm not exactly sure why, but I think it's for the Marvel Legends stands they have that lets you put them in an "in the air" pose. Though I'm not sure how that pertains to Marv. All in all though, it's a beautiful sculpt. Paint - ***** To me, the paint job on this figure is flawless. I absolutely love the black and white choice to reflect the comic book, and I even love the sort of splotchy look in some areas. I know a lot of people wouldn't, but it makes the figure seem that much more badass. Not only does it add depth to the look of the figure, but it makes it seem more gritty, which is exactly the feel you would want to have from Marv. Articulation - **** (out of 5) I was really surprised by the amount of articulation on this figure. Especially since the only other figures of Marv that we've gotten in the past were the movie figures by NECA, and the McFarlande Toys figures a long time ago. And they weren't very poseable. But this figure is extremely poseable and I love it. He's got individual finger joints on both hands, wrist rotators, a pin/disc neck joint so the head can tilt forward or back or be turned, he has ball jointed shoulders and hips (both sides of the ball), single pin jointed elbows and knees (which is ok considering he's a big figure), calf rotators (at the boots), ankle joints (can move forward and back), toe joints, and a cut waist joint. So you can see this is a well articulated figure. The reason I only gave it 8 though is because even though the head can move forward and back and side to side, his bulkiness prevents him from moving his head back too far which is forgiveable seeing as it's Marv. The thing that is annoying though is the coat. You can't open it. So it does restrict the mobility a bit, but the coat is a flexible plastic so you can still put Marv in some really great poses. Maybe next time a Marv figure is made, it will have interchangeable arms so you can take off his coat (a guy can dream). Accessories - * (out of 5) I was extremely dissapointed by the lack of accessories on here. He came with no guns, no hatchet, no gas can, no interchangeable hand holding a kevin head (though this last one is forgiveable considering it's supposed to be marketed to kids), nothing that you would expect a Marv figure to have. The only reason I gave it a 2 is because it comes with the right arm of Monkeyman for the Build-A-Figure, but that doesn't really count as an accessory. That's just a part to a completely different figure. Oh well, maybe I can fit some of the accessories my NECA movie Marv figures came with in his hands. In the comics Marv''s built sure- but not any bigger than 7 foot tall - which is big enough for a human
Marv according to Frank Miller is between 6''9 and 7 foot.

That figure is tottaly awesome.....expect for the total lack of guns and stuff.
But still a good fig.
