Repairing a Dragon's Lair 3D figure

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Hello,

I have a Mordroc figure from the 2001 line of Dragon's Lair 3D figures who's left arm has snapped clean off at the wrist.

It won't snap back into place, because a section of the peg on his arm has broken off inside the hole in his wrist.

I want to glue it in place, but I have two glues.

A plastic model cement that is specifically for joining polystyrene, and a super glue that can't be used with polystyrene.

As I don't know how to identify which plastic his wrist is made from, and I don't want to damage the figure further, can anybody offer suggestions?

Thanks,

WarpWarp

Hadn't considered drilling it. Never done that before and would be concerned about causing more damage to the figure. I have some pics.

Do you have pics? And have you thought about drilling what's left of the peg out of the wrist and replacing it?
