SWB Darth Maul overrun/knock off?

theres actually a TON of cool KO's out there...I keep hoping for a toybiz McFarlane spidey KO

I got one...he really isn't that bad...paint isn't as great as the original...some small packaging differences...but overall...not that bad at all

How can you tell it apart from official figs? Hasbros paint apps are pretty terrible lol

his face paint is just...lazily applied...some of the tats on his face don't match quite right to the original release...another example is his boots...the upper part of his boots are gloss black and the foot part of his boot is an flat black...it doesn't look BAD but it is there...I would post a side by side pic but it looks complicated

I just got a bootleg Batista Elite wrestling figure and it looks good except for the paint apps. Even the arms an legs are a different flesh tone than the body lol. They call them "prototypes" on ebay now to draw more attention.

Glad I bought mine as soon as I did when it showed up at Toys R Us. Did NOT expect the demand to shoot up like it did.

Some of the recent troopers have limited articulation though.

If I had to guess, the bootleggers are simply using the original molds to make those new Maul figures, like they do with NECA Ninja Turtles. Quality is about the same as "official" figures. Considering all toys come from China anyway, you have to wonder if there's such a thing as bootlegs.

Lol, Thats true. Yeah I've been seeing them and haven't pulled the trigger yet. I saw a review on YouTube that someone put up about an overseas DM and it was odd . I think the sculpt would be the biggest thing with these since hes mostly flat black anyway. I've also thought the Dark Empire Luke that customizers make from him look good as well.
