Action Figure Chatter(Sigh) It is a very depressing thing when you don't get any comments on that awesome figure you've spent ages working on.
I was wondeing if anyone had any advice on how to attract comments? Like the best time to submit a custom, how the featured custom works, and just any advice if you know any tips or tricks.

Im probably gonna sound like a jerk, but whatevs.
If you want tons of comments, make popular stuff. Naked chicks. Mainstream superheroes/tv stars/etc.
Another way is to make something really good. This is the hardest way of course, but the most rewarding. However, if youre that good, then you probably don't give a crap about feedback anyway because youre doing it as a profession and have steady customers already.
What kind of comments do you want? My favorite comments are the ones that tell me I need improvement and suggest an alternate way of doing things, because I want to get better but have very little guidance in my life.
Many people take these type of comments as a personal assault though. I don't comment much because of this. Its a shame because we end up with a lot of attaboys and slaps on the ass, but nothing substantial (although theyre great motivation).
I should get back to writing Figure Inques...
