Custom Comments

Featured customs are a way for paying users to get a few more days of "front page" time.

Im probably gonna sound like a jerk, but whatevs.

If you want tons of comments, make popular stuff. Naked chicks. Mainstream superheroes/tv stars/etc.

Another way is to make something really good. This is the hardest way of course, but the most rewarding. However, if youre that good, then you probably don't give a crap about feedback anyway because youre doing it as a profession and have steady customers already.

What kind of comments do you want? My favorite comments are the ones that tell me I need improvement and suggest an alternate way of doing things, because I want to get better but have very little guidance in my life.

Many people take these type of comments as a personal assault though. I don't comment much because of this. Its a shame because we end up with a lot of attaboys and slaps on the ass, but nothing substantial (although theyre great motivation).

I should get back to writing Figure Inques...

I appreciate both types of comments, though ones that help me improve my skills or works are more useful. Constructive criticism is always appreciated here, and I have thick skin, so if something is lacking in my customs, feel free to make it known, I do the same myself with many of my comments.

I would like to know some tips too, because I barely get any comments. Maybe post on a Monday or Friday? Monday so people have the whole week to comment, or Friday so they have the whole weekend to comment? Just my 2 cents.
