Varnish or not? That's the question

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Hey, guys! How are things? I've got a question, can I apply lacquer or varnish to a custom action figure in order to get a little brightness without affecting the joints?

Alright, thank you very much for your help and coreection.
There's any suggestion in order to protect the joints just in case that it doesn't work?

Generally, yes, assuming the paint and varnish are compatible. As always, test it on a scrap piece first.

What do you mean by "brightness" though? If you mean "gloss", then yeah, varnish/sealer comes in different finishes, like matte, satin, and gloss.
