Al Simmons, gun for hire. After brutally being gunned down by his own men, he was sent to hell. There he made a deal with the devil to go back to Earth by giving up his soul. Thus Simmons becomes Spawn, a demonic weapon of destruction. However, once on Earth Spawn realizes how bad things are and decides he doesn't want to be a pawn anymore. Now on a quest to rid the world of evil, pain and suffering, Spawn begins his own war on the very things that created him.
