Based upon the graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 retells the story of the famous Battle of Thermopylae. A small band of 300 Spartan soldiers, led by King Leonidas, make a last desperate stand against the invading Persian army in a bid to buy the main force of the Spartan army a chance to prepare for the coming assault.
