I can sculpt it, but the figure won't be poseable for obvious reasons

This Elrond figures does a decent job of keeping the arms poseable though

Help with green lantern figures in Action Figure Chatter by Kidkinne
Wednesday, March 8, 2017
   [Edit]
Hello, I am new to this site. I am a new collector of green lantern everything. I had this awesome idea for a green lantern "shrine" so to speak and the only thing I cant find are the emotional entities. I have found a parallax figure and a nekron figure but the rest don't seem to have been made into figures. If anyone could help me find if any of these exist or point me in the direction of someone willing to create them it would be much appreciated!...[See More]

AFA Grading in Action Figure Chatter by MoonKnight1
Wednesday, February 15, 2017
   [Edit]
How does Action Figure Authority grade loose figures?

I deal with G.I. Joe figures but have never had any graded although I have bought some that were. I'm asking because a friend of mine has two Zap version 1 figs (one of them has a broken thumb and the other a broken crotch) and he wants to take them both apart and reassemble to make a better figure. He wants to get it AFA graded and was wondering how that would affect it. I have to admit that I'm curious as well.

So my questions are:

Does it matter that you have used parts from different figures to make a better one? Even if they are the same vintage and variation?

What about accessories and o-ring?

Is that something that needs to be disclosed when submitting a figure for grading?...[See More]

That's the same thing I was thinking. I'm much more familiar with comic book grading standards. Never used any of the figure grading companies.

From the little I remember reading about grading years ago, I got the impression that different companies have different standards, making the whole grading thing murky.

I just recently went through my box of old wrestling figures at my folk's house. I had forgotten how varied in quality that WCW line was. (And forgot how many ECW guy were made for their line... I had trouble remembering who some of them were.)

Clone Trooper removable helmets? in Action Figure Chatter by CustomKAT
Wednesday, February 8, 2017
   [Edit]
Does anyone know of a list of which 3.75" SW Clone Troopers (Phase 2) had removable helmets? It's kind of a nightmare to go through database and click on each individual one and search and was just wondering if someone had already made a list like this?

(God, RebelScum forums seems impossible to get approved in so I know that's the best place to ask but I can't.)...[See More]

All I did was use the Rebel Scum search bar for "trooper removable" and it listed every figure with those words. The thumbnails show you the figure so you can quickly tell whats worth looking at.

Thanks DrNightmare! I'm well known for my poor key word searching abilities. I'll go try those terms.

(And geez, what's a person gotta do to get approved into their forum?!)

If I had to guess, the joints are supposed to be that way. They sound like "ratchet joints", which are designed to keep the joint stiff. If you were crack open the figure to remove the little teeth that make the click noise, the joint would get floppy.
